January 30 reports and opinionsConsidering I just got my new leather finished 20 inch laptop computer with a brand new operating system, was looking forward to upgrading to Vista! But heard so much about it that gives it the vibe of not being worth it yet... I settled on Media Center edition of XP. Well... will Vista change things for Microsoft and gaming? Check it out:
Hey guyzzz and galzzz...!! Two recent Podcasts I've been checking out.!! These scores/reviews are based on my personal satisfaction and perspective, but I suggest you to check them out.
the Good: nice forum topics and debating without getting into fights... LOL. And they have been improving. the Bad: for the most part things are good... but to be picky, sound levels can be consistant; tends to be drawn out (1hr 10mins is more than enough), breaks are cute but useless.
the Good: As good as Next-Gen.biz podcasts... well rounded, to the point... opinions and all. the Bad: Really, I can't think any particular bad... I guess I can say if I gave them a 10, it's like no more room for impovement. hehehhe. Here again are my past PICKS of podcasts I listen to... with updated reviews: CON'S PODCAST/VIDEO BLOGS RATINGSHere are some of my most listened to Podcasts/Video:
The Good: Top quality diverse interviews and special effect sounds/music transitions The Bad: You won't get too much about other systems/consoles or "round-table" discussions/ biased
The Good: Plenty of quality interviews and opinionated discussions The Bad: Hard to find anything wrong, maybe they should get a 10/10
The Good: Quality interviews, effect, humor, visuals The Bad: Sometimes short, and at times no discussions, just reports. you never know what you're gonna get.
The Good: Round-table discussions, humor... give aways The Bad: Sometimes drawn out, too much bland humor... tends to bore me at times
The Good: Deacon's passion for podcasting The Bad: Not enough interviews/discussions with any guests
The Good: Passion for podcasting and opinionated The Bad: Too long with not so great jokes, and I haven't heard interviews... not fun at times
The Good: Round-table conferences, creative, dedicated with daily video minutes The Bad: Sound quality and not all that fun to listen to at times.(based on 2 downloads)
The Good: Sound effects, creative at times, nice discussions, funny, simple to the point plus fun to listen to The Bad: No interviews, no guest discussions
The Good: His hard work out of love for gaming The Bad: Looooong, Drraaaawn out, inconsistent and bland... hasn't been around lately ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I may be writing more, and possible re-rating but thus far, those are my picks and my opinions. My other computer is a little ill and caught a virus and I have everything backed up to my hard drive so it's all good. Any way, it was going to be a 1gig RAM... I upgraded to 2gig RAM for the memory. It's a about $3700 and change. I'm really excited! I don't have to pay that in full until August 2008. The new year is treating me quite grand... how about you all?? I'm working on catching up to everyone else on my gamer score, oh... and I can use some training in Gears of War even though I'm late. January 12 con's newshey guys... thanks for visiting!!! Top news today from con... I purchased it!! Like I said I would... 4 months ago!! I didn't care how much it cost. Before I did though, it was like my current lap top knew it would be replaced and finally caught a virus for the first time in a couple of years!!! Here is it:
